Token Communities
Token pages group videos, discussions, and public token identity around a catalogue token. SAIKO is QTube’s transversal ecosystem entitlement. A community token is that community’s own identity and access. New tokens can enter the catalogue through community proposals and holder voting when those features are enabled.
What a token page is
A token page is a public catalogue hub for an active token. It typically includes token identity and logo when one is hosted, contract and chain details when available, official links, market data when available, tip statistics, published videos, and proposals or votes when those features apply. Eligible communities also expose a public Discuss surface. Discuss exists only where holdings can be verified for that community; a listed token does not automatically have Discuss. Community tipping (whether that community’s tip asset is enabled) is independent of Discuss.
Holding that community's token lets you post and reply in that community's Discuss surface. Meeting the current SAIKO holder minimum lets you post and reply across every eligible community without holding each community's token. A normal SAIKO holder is not automatically a moderator. SAIKO Community Moderators can participate across eligible communities and moderate those discussions.
The token catalogue is currently enabled.
How token proposals work
When token submissions are enabled, any active authenticated member can submit a proposal from Submit proposal. A wallet is not required to submit a proposal.

- Proposals identify a token contract and supporting information for community review. An optional initial token logo may be attached at submit time.
- Open proposals appear in community voting surfaces when votes are enabled.
- Accepted proposals become catalogue tokens; rejected proposals enter a contract cooldown.
- After listing, only Admin / Super Admin can change the hosted token logo. QTube stores validated logos locally rather than hotlinking third-party images.
Community voting
When token votes are enabled, SAIKO Holders can cast a single immutable YES or NO ballot with a linked wallet that meets the SAIKO holder threshold. Token Holder affiliation alone does not grant a vote. Eligible holders may also use Vote YES on all / Vote NO on all on Community Votes as a convenience — each pending proposal still receives an ordinary independent ballot under the same rules, and existing votes are not changed. That convenience count is global, not limited to the current Community Votes page or filter.
Token votes are currently enabled. The current SAIKO holder minimum is 1 SAIKO.
A proposal passes only when all of the following are satisfied:
- The winning side reaches at least the minimum YES/winning vote count
- The winning side has a strict majority over the other side
- Total ballots cast meet the quorum floor
QTube uses absolute vote counts and majority rules. There is no separate “minimum YES percentage” setting.
Acceptance, rejection, and resubmission
- Acceptance — the proposal is finalized as accepted and materializes as an active catalogue token.
- Rejection — the proposal is finalized as rejected. The contract enters a resubmission cooldown.
- Resubmission — the same contract cannot be proposed again while its cooldown is active.
Current contract rejection cooldown: 30 days.
Ordinary members cannot bypass the cooldown. Platform operators may clear a cooldown only in exceptional operational cases.
