FAQ

Answers to common questions about processing, moderation, tips, wallets, proposals, and roles.

Why is my video still processing?

After upload, platform workers prepare the deliverable automatically. Large files and queue load can increase wait time. Check the status on your Account page.

Why is my video awaiting moderation?

Successful processing moves a video into soft review. It is not public until an authorized reviewer publishes it. See Moderation.

Why can’t I receive tips?

Tips require all of the following:

  • Tips enabled on the platform (currently enabled)
  • Eligible content: a published video with tips enabled, or a visible Community Post, comment, or reply
  • A linked wallet on Account with tip receiving enabled on the chain of the tip asset

A published video is not required to receive a tip on a discussion or reply. SAIKO can be tipped where Ethereum compatibility allows. A community’s own token can also be tipped when that community’s tip asset is enabled. Details: Tips.

Can QTube access my wallet?

QTube can request a signature to prove wallet ownership and can ask your wallet software to send a tip transaction you approve. QTube does not hold your private keys and does not custody tip funds.

Why was my token proposal rejected?

A proposal is rejected when the vote finalizes without meeting the pass rules: minimum winning votes, strict majority, and quorum when quorum is enabled. Current values are listed on Token Communities.

Can I submit a rejected token proposal again?

The same contract cannot be proposed again while its rejection cooldown is active. The current cooldown is 30 days. After the cooldown ends, a new proposal may be submitted if submissions are enabled.

What is the difference between Token Holder, SAIKO Holder, and Community Moderator?

These are different statuses. A Token Holder has one or more verified listed community tokens (affiliation, and Community Posts in that token's hub). A SAIKO Holder meets the current SAIKO holder requirement (1 SAIKO) for governance, sensitive-media access when gated, and posting or replying in every eligible token community. A SAIKO Community Moderator meets a separate configurable SAIKO requirement for community soft review when that feature is enabled. None of these statuses make you a Platform Moderator. See Governance.

How do I become a SAIKO Community Moderator?

SAIKO Community Moderator is not an application role and is not Platform Moderator. It is currently enabled. Members with a linked wallet and a cached SAIKO balance of at least 100,000,000 SAIKO can access soft review.

What is a Platform Moderator?

Platform Moderators are appointed by QTube to help with platform moderation. This is separate from SAIKO Community Moderator status, which is based on a configurable SAIKO balance. Holding tokens does not appoint you as a Platform Moderator. The Platform Moderator role does not by itself grant Community Posts participation (posting, replies, or downvotes). See Governance.

Is there a creator appeal process?

No. QTube does not provide a creator appeals workflow. SAIKO Community Moderators can escalate protected hide decisions for platform review.

What happens if processing fails?

The video is marked processing failed. You can delete it from Account. There is no self-service retry; upload again after cleanup. See Creators.

Why do some sensitive videos require SAIKO?

When holder features and the sensitive-holder gate are enabled, sensitive videos require a linked wallet meeting the SAIKO holder minimum (1 SAIKO) before full access.
